Itinerary

Embark on your safari with a journey to Hell's Gate National Park, characterized by a savannah ecosystem that hosts a diverse array of wildlife. The park boasts over 100 bird species, including vultures, Verreaux's Eagles, augur buzzards, and swifts. You'll encounter African buffalo, zebra, eland, hartebeest, Thomson's gazelle, and baboons during your exploration.

In the afternoon, proceed to Lake Naivasha, the highest and most picturesque of the Rift Valley lakes. This region is renowned for bird watching, with over 400 recorded species. A popular weekend retreat for Nairobi residents, Lake Naivasha offers opportunities for sailing, water skiing, and fishing. The absence of crocodiles in the lake, due to its cool altitude, makes it a safe haven for water activities, while hippos add to the unique ecosystem.

Along the lake shore, vineyards contribute to the country's burgeoning wine industry. Conclude your day with a delightful dinner and an overnight stay at a campsite or lodge, surrounded by the natural beauty of Lake Naivasha.

Accommodation: L.Naivasha Simba Lodge

Commence your day with an early morning pick-up, setting off for Lake Nakuru National Park. As you traverse across the equator, southwards of Bogoria, you'll reach the famed Lake Nakuru, a highlight of the Rift Valley. Globally renowned for its flamingos, the alkaline lake is acknowledged as one of the natural wonders of the world.

Lake Nakuru is now a rhino sanctuary, home to a population of over 40 black and 60 white rhinos, yet the flamingos remain the star attraction. The lake can host almost 2 million flamingoes at times, creating a breathtakingly beautiful deep pink band along the lake shore.

Arrive in time for lunch and embark on an afternoon game drive, immersing yourself in the diverse wildlife of Lake Nakuru National Park. Conclude the day with dinner and an overnight stay at a campsite or lodge, surrounded by the natural wonders of Lake Nakuru.

Accommodation: L.Nakuru Lodge

Embark on an early morning drive to the Maasai Mara National Reserve, a sanctuary that preserves the essence of a time when wildlife thrived undisturbed, echoing the numbers that once freely roamed the plains and forests of Africa.

Positioned at the northern tip of the expansive Serengeti ecosystem, the Mara is witness to the awe-inspiring seasonal migration of countless wildebeest, zebras, and their accompanying predators. Arrive in time for lunch and seize the opportunity for an afternoon game drive, immersing yourself in the rich biodiversity and natural beauty of the Maasai Mara.

Conclude the day with dinner and an overnight stay at a campsite or lodge, surrounded by the untamed wonders of the Maasai Mara.

Accommodation: Mara Simba Lodge

Following breakfast, embark on a full-day game drive with a packed lunch provided, allowing for an extensive exploration of the Maasai Mara Reserve. The reserve is renowned for its iconic black-manned lions, abundant resident wildlife, and the unique distinction of being one of the few places where encountering the big five during a morning game drive is possible.

Notably, some cheetahs in the area are remarkably tame, seeking shelter under vehicles to escape the hot sun, and a few even climb onto the roof to gain a better view of potential prey. For bird enthusiasts, the Maasai Mara offers a diverse array of species, with almost 500 recorded. This includes 16 species of eagles, along with numerous hawks and falcons, 6 species of vultures, 8 species of storks, 4 species of bustards (including the Kori bustard, the world's heaviest flying bird), and 9 species of sunbirds.

Conclude the day with dinner and an overnight stay at a campsite or lodge, surrounded by the natural wonders of the Maasai Mara Reserve.

Embark on a morning game drive in the Maasai Mara, capturing the last moments of wildlife in this spectacular reserve. Depart in the late morning for Nairobi, with an anticipated arrival around 5 pm. Enjoy lunch en route.

This marks the end of our services, concluding a memorable safari experience in the renowned Maasai Mara National Reserve.
