Itinerary

Embark on an early morning journey to Amboseli National Park. Upon arrival, check into your accommodation and enjoy a delicious lunch. In the afternoon, set out for an exciting game drive in Amboseli National Park. This park, located south of Nairobi, features a landscape dominated by a dry, ancient lake bed and delicate grassland interspersed with acacia woodland.

The southern region boasts small, rocky, volcanic hills, while the swamps of Ol Kenya, Ol Tukai, and Enkongo Narok are adorned with lush vegetation, including yellow-barked acacias and phoenix palms. Wrap up the day with a delightful dinner and spend the night at your chosen campsite or lodge.

Begin your day by rising early to capture stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro before clouds obscure the summit. A packed lunch is provided for your convenience. Following this, consider opting for a visit to a Masai village after breakfast. This cultural experience offers insight into the daily lives and sacred rituals of the Masai people, with opportunities to witness their traditional singing and dancing.

Explore their homes and gain a deeper understanding of their social structure, creating a poignant and immersive experience.

Embark on an early morning drive to Lake Naivasha, renowned as the highest and most picturesque lake in the Rift Valley. Situated at an elevation of 1910 meters (6200 feet), the freshwater lake is adorned with dense clumps of papyrus, historically used by ancient Egyptians to make paper.

Kingfishers utilize the papyrus as a perch, while herons find shelter within it while searching for food. Lake Naivasha is a haven for birdwatching enthusiasts, with over 400 recorded species. This idyllic destination is a preferred weekend retreat for Nairobi residents who engage in sailing, water skiing, and fishing activities.

Notably, the lake's cold waters at this altitude deter crocodiles, but hippos are often spotted. Along the lake's shores, vineyards thrive, producing grapes for Kenya's budding wine industry.

Conclude your day with dinner and an overnight stay at a campsite or lodge, surrounded by the natural beauty of Lake Naivasha.

Commence the day with an early morning pick-up, followed by a scenic drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. Globally renowned for its flamingos, the lake, with its alkaline properties, is acknowledged as one of the natural wonders of the world.

Lake Nakuru has evolved into a rhino sanctuary, providing a safe haven for a substantial population, including over 40 black rhinos and 60 white rhinos. The flamingoes, however, remain the star attraction. During certain periods, nearly 2 million flamingoes create a visually stunning deep pink band along the lake's shoreline.

Upon arrival, indulge in a delicious lunch, and subsequently, embark on an afternoon game drive to explore the diverse wildlife inhabiting the park.

Conclude the day with dinner and an overnight stay at a campsite or lodge, surrounded by the enchanting landscapes of Lake Nakuru National Park.

Embark on an early morning departure to the iconic Maasai Mara National Reserve. This reserve stands as one of the last remaining havens on Earth where wildlife thrives undisturbed, reminiscent of the vast numbers that once roamed the African plains and forests.

Positioned as the northern tip of the expansive Serengeti ecosystem, the Mara plays host to the awe-inspiring seasonal migration of numerous Wildebeest, Zebras, and their accompanying predators. Upon arrival, relish a delectable lunch, followed by an immersive afternoon game drive, offering a firsthand encounter with the reserve's rich biodiversity. Conclude the day's adventures with a delightful dinner and an overnight stay at a campsite or lodge, enveloped by the enchanting landscapes of Maasai Mara.

Following breakfast, seize the opportunity for a full-day game drive, complemented by a packed lunch for an uninterrupted day of adventure. The Maasai Mara Reserve is renowned for its captivating black-manned lion population, alongside an abundance of resident wildlife. It stands out as one of the rare locations where encountering the big five during a morning game drive is feasible.

Impressively, some cheetahs in the reserve are known for their tameness, seeking refuge under vehicles to escape the scorching sun, with a few even ascending to the vehicle roof to gain a better vantage point for spotting potential prey. For avid bird enthusiasts, the Maasai Mara boasts a remarkable birdlife with nearly 500 recorded species. This includes 16 eagle species, numerous hawks and falcons, 6 vulture species, 8 stork species, 4 bustard species (including the Kori bustard, the world's heaviest flying bird), and 9 sunbird species. As the day unfolds, immerse yourself in the wonders of the Maasai Mara, culminating in a tranquil evening.

Relish a sumptuous dinner and spend the night at a campsite or lodge, immersed in the mesmerizing ambiance of the Maasai Mara Reserve.

The morning begins with an exhilarating game drive in the Maasai Mara, offering a final opportunity to witness the diverse wildlife in its natural habitat. Later in the afternoon, embark on a transfer back to Nairobi, with an anticipated arrival around 5 pm.

Enjoy lunch en route. With the conclusion of this memorable journey, the safari services come to an end.
