Tsavo West, the most visited section of Tsavo National Park, is renowned for numerous attractions beyond its wildlife.
The highlight is the famous Mzima Springs, where an impressive 227.3 million liters of cool, crystal-clear water flow from the ground through porous volcanic rocks. Believed to originate from Chyulu Hills via an underground river, the springs add a unique natural spectacle to the park.

If interested, it can be climbed for a unique perspective. The area is also known for the agile klipspringer, a small antelope aptly named Mbuzi Mawe, or "mountain goat," in Swahili. In the southwest corner of Tsavo West lies Lake Jipe, with the Kenyan-Tanzanian border running through it.
