Set amongst a family farm of 6,500 acres on the shores of Lake Naivasha, this charming property is steeped in history and dates back to 1939. Guests are invited to enjoy a gentle pace of life; relax by the pool, take in the views or head out on a game drive.
In the original family home, there is one en-suite double room. Close by are three guest cottages (each housing two separate en-suite rooms) and two luxury suites offering incredible views across the lake. Loldia is only a two hour drive from Nairobi and conveniently located for day trips to Lake Nakuru National Park – famous for its rhino and flamingo populations. There are daily flights on Governors’ Aviation direct from Nairobi to Loldia House and then on to the Masai Mara, making it the perfect place from which to begin or end your exciting safari holiday around Kenya. An old farmhouse on Loldia ranch which is located on the north-western part of Lake Naivasha ,in the Great Rift Valley, Kenya.
Traditional (day and night) game drives take place on Loldia’s 6,500 acre ranch. Guests going out on a full day excursion further afield, are provided with a picnic breakfast/lunch.
Beautiful, country-style en-suite rooms in both the main house and garden cottages.
Breakfast is a continental and full English, lunch is a set menu with fresh salads, served under the ancient fig tree, overlooking the lake. Dinner is served in the main dining room. We cater for special diets on request and with advance notice.
Guests going out on a full day excursion are provided with a picnic breakfast/lunch. Drinks can be packed and added to your room bill. The nightly rate includes all soft drinks, beers, house wines and ‘non-premium’ spirits. Champagnes, selected fine wines, premium spirits and liqueurs will be charged as extras. For Groups and Incentives, we reserve the right to charge drinks on consumption or to levy a drinks supplement.Dining room, sitting room and comfortable verandah with views over Lake Naivasha and Mount Longonot. Pool-side spa offers a range of massages using 100% natural products by The Wild Herb Company – please view the full treatment list HERE Toiletries; Loldia provide a natural range of ‘Cinnabar Green’ toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, soap and body lotion) in the rooms. These products are refilled into reusable metal canisters so as to reduce on plastic waste. They are also handmade in Kenya with natural ingredients and are therefore in keeping with the sensitive environment in which we operate. We urge visitors to please use hotel products rather than your own. These toiletries are supplied for the duration of your stay with, and if you would like to buy some to take onwards with you, the hotel sell the full range in the gift shop. 220/240 UK Volt plugs in the rooms for charging cameras and phones.
