Overnight: Enkutoto Migration Camp
Begin your day with an early morning game drive, when the cool hours of the day bring wildlife to life and predators are at their most active. Enjoy a packed picnic breakfast in the heart of the park, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the Serengeti’s dynamic wilderness.
Spend the rest of the day exploring the vast plains, river valleys, and rocky kopjes (outcrops), each offering unique wildlife encounters. Depending on the season, you may witness parts of the legendary Great Migration, as wildebeest, zebras, and other herbivores traverse the plains, often pursued by stalking predators—a truly breathtaking spectacle of nature.
Keep an eye out for lions resting in the shade of rocky outcrops, elephants grazing along riverbanks, graceful giraffes browsing acacias, and herds of zebras and antelopes across open grasslands. Your expert guide will navigate the varied habitats, sharing insights into animal behavior, predator-prey dynamics, and the Serengeti ecosystem.
Return to Enkutoto Migration Camp in the late afternoon for dinner and an overnight stay, reflecting on a day filled with thrilling wildlife encounters, scenic vistas, and unforgettable safari experiences.
After breakfast, enjoy a final short morning game drive as you exit the Serengeti. Continue your journey toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, driving through scenic highlands and Maasai country. Arrive at your Africa Karatu Safari Lodge in time for lunch. Spend the afternoon relaxing, enjoying the cool highland climate, or admiring views of the surrounding forests and landscapes. Dinner and overnight at the lodge overlooking the crater surroundings.

After an early breakfast, descend approximately 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most breathtaking natural wildlife arenas. Embark on a half-day game drive, exploring this UNESCO World Heritage site renowned for its high density of wildlife and varied ecosystems.
The crater is home to lions, hyenas, elephants, and large herds of zebras and wildebeest, with a rare chance to spot the endangered black rhino. Traverse diverse habitats—swamps, crater lakes, lush forests, and open plains—each offering unique wildlife viewing and photographic opportunities.
